Travel by Car
Arriving from the West Motorway (A 1)
At the end of the motorway (A1) keep on driving straightly until you pass "Castle of Schoenbrunn"; remain on this street and follow the trafic sign "Zentrum" = center. Approximatly at the number 56 on Schoenbrunnerstrasse bend to the left direction city centre into "Rechte Wienzeile". Drive straighton. First you come on the" Hamburgerstrasse" and then on "Rechte Wienzeile". Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road ("Rechte Wienzeile") and at the very beginning of the open air market, the Naschmarkt, turn right into the " Faulmangasse" . The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house ist No. 6, which is your final destination.
Arriving from the Southern Motorway (A2)
You will enter "Triesterstrasse". Keep driving straighton on "Triester Strasse". You will reach "Guertel". Drive under a railway viaduct, keep straight on and hold the left trace and drive straightforward on the "Reinprechtsdorferstrasse". You will enter "Schoennbrunnerstrasse". Turn here on the right. Follow after 200 meters the trafic sign "Zentrum" = center and bend to the left direction of "Rechte Wienzeile". Drive straighton. First you come on the" Hamburgerstrasse" and then on "Rechte Wienzeile". Remain on this street. Almost at the end of this road turn right into the " Faulmangasse" . The first small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house ist No. 6, which is your final destination.
Arriving from the Motorway North (A22) from Prague
Keep driving direction "Zentrum" = "center" until you reach teh "Urania building" on you left side. Here you bend right on the very famous "Ringstrasse". Hold the left trace. At the Vienna "State Opera House" you bend to the left into the "Operngasse". Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the " Faulmangasse". The 1st small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.
From Vienna Airport Schwechat on motorway A4
(from Budapest or Slowakia)
Keep on driving on A4 direction to Vienna (about 12 km). Pursue the trafic sign "Zentrum" = center. Bend with " Urania " to the left. Turn left over a bridge into the famous "Ringstrasse". hold the left trace. At the Vienna "State Opera House" you bend to the left into the "Operngasse". Keep on the middle track. Bend after the 3rd Traffic light on the right into the " Faulmangasse". The 1st small road on the right is the Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.

From Vienna International Airport Schwechat
A taxi ride to Central Apartment Vienna costs about 40 EURO.
Express bus to the center "Wien Mitte" go every 20 minutes: approx. 8 EURO
Railway to the center "Wien Mitte" go every 30 minutes: approx. 5 EURO
From "Wien Mitte"
take the subway line U4 direktion "Huetteldorf" and get off at 2nd stop "Karlsplatz". Take the exit on your right to "Wiednerhauptstrasse". Walk approx. 100 straight along the green buildings of the "Technical University", to arrive at the 1st crossing and turn to right into Schaurhofergasse. Walk again 100 meters over the crossing "Operngasse" to enter "Faulmanngasse". 50 meters after the crossing of on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. The first house is No. 6 is your final destination.
From the West Station (Westbahnhof)
Take the underground line U6, direction " Alterlaa" or " Siebenhirten". Get out at the 2nd stop "Laengenfeldgasse". Change here to subway line U4 and get off at the 4th station "Karlsplatz". Take the exit on your right to "Wiednerhauptstrasse". Walk appox. 100 meters straight along the green building to enter "Faulmanngasse". 50 meters after the crossing of on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. From South Station (Suedbahnhof)
You rise in the U1 direction "Kagran". Get off at the 2. Station = "Karlsplatz". Take the exit "Wiednerhauptstrasse". Take the exit on your right to "Wiednerhauptstrasse". Walk appox. 100 meters straight along the green building to enter "Faulmanngasse". 50 meters after the crossing of on the Faulmanngasse turn left into the 1st small road = Muehlgasse. Parking regulations in Vienna
The old city of Vienna and the surrounding districts (1 to 9 and 20) are pay & display short stay parking zones. When you park here you need a valid parking permit ticket to put behind your windscreen from the first minute of your stay.
Parking permits (tickets)
are available from most tobacconists, gas stations, banks, from railway stations and Vienna Lines ticket offices. There are 4 kinds of parking permits: Red permittickets, valid for 30 minutes, costs 0,44 EURO, the blue one, valid for 60 minutes costs 0,87 and the green permit tickets, valid for 90 minutes, cost 1,31 EURO.
10-minutes parking permit
There is also a purple 10-minutes parking permit ticket, which you get free of charge at any tobacconists. The 10-minute parking permit cannot be used in combination with other permits. Please ensure that you fill out each parking permit completely. If you use more than one parking permit, fill in the same date and time on each. The traffic signs indicating the short stay parking zones, further more the zones are posted where you enter these districts. In shopping streets it is necessary to watch for signs indicating exceptions to days on which zones apply and maximum length of stay.
Handicapped visitors
can park for an unlimited period in short parking zones provided that a disabled person pass is displayed behind the windscreen.
General parking rules
In the 1st district (city center or old town) from Moday to Friday (working days) 9-19 o'clock. You are allowed to stay at most 1,5 hours. In the district 2 to 9 and 20, from Moday to Friday (working days), you can park you car for at most 2 hours with a parking permit.
Caution
On the main (shopping) streets the short-term-parking regulations are also applicable on Saturdays from 9-12 o'clock. This does not apply on side streets. Anyway, please watch the trafic signes carefully before parking.
Car Parks
If you need to park more than 1,5 or 2 hours, we recommend you to park your car in the next car park, as the short-term-parking areas are subject of permanent controll by the authorities. At the location of our apartments (Muehlgasse 6) there are 2 underground car parks right at the corner (car park of the University of Technology at Operngasse No.13 and car park at Kuehnplatz). The special rate for our guests are 18 EURO per day. For longer parking durations special arrangments are possible.
